Product data is extensive – and not every company uses it in the same way. A logistics value, for example, may be required for a product unit, while other information may need to be stored directly on the product or in an additional table.
That is why the OTE DATA NatuRe App does not rely on rigid mappings.
Using DATA NatuRe tags, the app identifies the information provided. In Business Central, you can then define which action should be performed for each tag and which field the value should be transferred to.
For example, a supplied gross weight can be assigned specifically to the corresponding weight field of a product unit. Other product information can be processed in different locations as required.
The result is an integration that provides a standardised framework without forcing companies into a rigid data model.
From DATA NatuRe Directly to the Business Central Product
The starting point for the integration is the unique product identification in DATA NatuRe. This is assigned to the corresponding product in Business Central.
The app can then retrieve the information available for this product directly from DATA NatuRe. The supplied tags and values are first imported in a structured format and then processed according to the defined mapping.
