Onboarding
Your Start at OTE
Your onboarding program takes around 40 hours and covers all the areas you need to get started in your role. You’ll get to know your colleagues, learn how meetings are organized, how vacation planning works, what day-to-day work looks like, how we handle lunch breaks, which business applications we use, how we communicate internally, and much more.
Depending on your role and contract, you may also receive a structured onboarding plan. During your first two weeks, you’ll get plenty of professional and company-specific input to ensure a smooth start and help you settle into your new role with confidence.. Everyone involved will take the time to support you and help you get settled. You’ll always have someone by your side when questions come up.
What We Expect from Our Applicants
Because we work closely across teams and interact with our customers on a daily basis, you should enjoy working with others while being able to manage your responsibilities independently.
For roles with direct customer contact, the ability to understand customer requirements and the patience to work through them are essential.
A solid understanding of business processes and commercial operations will help you understand our customers’ requirements and see the bigger picture behind their day-to-day work.
As a provider of Microsoft-based business solutions, we expect you to be confident using Microsoft Office applications.
Very good German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for effective collaboration within the team and clear communication with customers.
